The introduction to fly fishing school is all-encompassing, good for first time and beginner fly fishers alike. In addition to the theory and practice of casting on water, you'll learn about stream and lake entomology, fishing knots, reading water, differences in equipment, fly selection, approach and presentation & playing, landing and releasing fish. It's a full day of fun both on and off the water. Class size is limited to 20 students.

An intermediate and advanced casting school is the ideal follow-up to the fly fishing school. The purpose of this school is to improve any angler's casting skill in fresh or salt water. Because of unique individual instruction, students are allowed to move at his or her own pace. The school includes discussion regarding differences in equipment, casting patterns for stream coverage, accuracy, shooting line and depending on the student's interest - distance casting with the use of single and double hauls, oval casting, handling heavy flies, and using shooting heads. Class size is limited to 4 students.

A childrens’ fishing school provides an ideal opportunity for kids to have fun and learn about a great sport without parental instruction. Each student will enjoy hands-on practice casting, reading water, identifying fish food (bugs) & playing, landing and releasing fish in a fun and respectful way. Class size is limited to 4 students that are 8 years and older.

The couples fishing school offers a supportive way for partners to enjoy learning together. Instruction is customized to match the needs of each student and there is emphasis on learning to assess the efficiency and accuracy of your own cast while practicing and fishing. This school is designed to reduce tension in both your cast and relationship. You will leave with knowledge of equipment, casting, fishing techniques, entomology, habitat preservation and fish conservation. You will also be able to assess and correct your cast and presentation of a fly. Class size is limited to 3 couples.
