A Review of the Fishpond Nomad Boat Net

The Nomad Boat Net is the largest composite net in the world. We designed the Nomad Boat Net to handle the needs of anglers who are catching (and releasing) very large fish. We’ve landed 25lb carp, huge rainbows, and bone fish in the net during testing. Like other Nomad nets they are comprised of a mixture of carbon fiber and fiber glass. An additional feature on the “Boat Net” is the Nomad Stirrup System for stringing – we developed this system to come closer to maxing out the load capacity of the net frame (85 lbs). Nomad nets are built for the conditions that prevail where great fishing exists; they are waterproof, UV protected, and float like a cork.
