More of the same with the lower river near Missoula consistently running temperatures in the danger zone while the upper Bitterroot continues to be some of the coldest water in the area. You'll want to be on the upper/mid and NOT lower river. Prospects are definitely better hitting the early morning hatches of PMDs and spruce moths and being off the water by about 2. Hopper dropper combos have also been very productive. The river near Daby is peaking out at about 66 degrees these days while the lower river near Missoula has hit 73 the last 2 days.
