The skwalas are still not quite out, but the fish are still willing to come up for a dry. Do not let the weather fool you, dry fly fishing has been good. A dry-dropper rig fished tight to the bank is a good plan. For dry flies use fatheads, royal-chubbies, peanuts, or a flush floaters. For a more low-profile skwala use a rogue skwala,  Bullet head skwala, Gould's half down, Peacock bugmeister, and  amy's ant are all good choices. Definitely count on sub surface patterns to hook some fish if the dries aren't flying yet with olive double beaded stones, Pat's rubber legs, Little olive micro stones, prince nymphs, and Kaufman's stones. Streamers will turn some fatties too with black buggers, double gangas, Butte rats, sparkle buggers, dungeons, and sculpin patterns. The flow just above town is sitting at 1700 cfs with a water temp hitting the 40s by mid day.
