The Bitteroot is steadily dropping, with clarity still an issue. Its still very high and has a lot of dropping to do before we think about fishing the mainstem of The Bitteroot. Side channels will be holding fish where ever you can find "walking pace water". The West Fork of The Bitteroot could be a good floating option right now.  The Missouri, Browns Lake, Harpers Lake, Beavertail pond, Warm Springs, and Frenchtown Pond are your other options right now. This Saturday most tributaries and creeks open up for the summer. Have a good weekend!
