The Bitteroot is still recovering from the latest rainstorm, but is still on the drop. The main stem is still relatively high, though the west fork has dropped back into shape. Floating is still the best option for the west fork. You should see some salmonflies out and about, but also be prepared with caddis and green drakes. Stay safe and have a good weekend!
