The flows are getting more and more wader friendly as the summer rolls on with mornings and evenings fishing best. The Bitteroot's water temps dropped back down to a reasonable level with the cooler nights we have been having, but watch for them to start climbing again with the weather we have coming. With today's weather you stand the chance at having some very good mayfly fishing with the cloud cover on tap. For dries, use BWOs, PMDs, green drakes, yellow sallies, caddis, Golden stones and other attractor patterns. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, caddis pupae, scuds, small micro stones and Pat's rubber legs. For Streamers use dark bodied buggers and sculpin patterns. Don't forget to bring a jacket, it looks like we could get some rain today along with the cloud cover.

HATCHES/Flies: Golden Stones, PMDs, caddis, yellow sallies. Dark, heavy nymphs for subsurface. JJ's specials, articulated streamers, bead-head woolly buggers.
