** Hoot Owl restrictions are in play starting 8/3 from Veterans Bridge (Hamilton) downstream till the confluence of The Clark Fork**

As with everywhere, mornings and evenings are when you'll see the most productive fishing, especially on top. Evenings are a no go with Hoot Owl, so hit it early. Some tricos around, but no real numbers yet. For dries, use PMDs, caddis, spruce moths, nocturnal stones, hoppers, and other attractor patterns. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, caddis pupae, scuds, small micro stones and Pat's rubber legs. For streamers use dark bodied buggers and sculpin patterns.

HATCHES/Flies: Caddis, BWOs, Golden Stones, Baetis, PMDs, yellow sallies
