The Bitterroot has been a solid option all fall and will be your best bet for dry fly fishing. Mahogany patterns of all sorts in the size 14 to 16 range have been taking fish, but a Harrop's last chance mahogany cripple, or a Mercer's profile mahogany spinner has been the best for us in glassy water conditions. On the main river, a pheasant tail parachute or purple haze followed by a tiny (size 18 or 20) standard parachute Adams has been working well over pods of fish and while prospecting. Nymphing in the morning, with a #12 olive Zirdle and a mayfly nymph, has been dynamite. The shame and guilt of bringing the bobbers back out will quickly dissipate. You will be too busy catching fish. Dry fly fishing has been a afternoon gig, anyways. CDC pheasant tails, red copper Johns, purple princes, Pat's rubber legs, and batman nymphs have also worked well. Get out and enjoy the sunshine!
