More of the same with the lower river near Missoula consistently running temperatures in the danger zone, while the upper Bitterroot continues to be some of the coldest water in the area. Hitting the river early using spruce moths, PMD's, and hoppers is the way to go. Not a ton of tricos yet, but they are coming in hot! Twitching hoppers in back eddies has been very productive.
