The Blackfoot has been good in the afternoons, but the dry fly fishing is starting to slow down. Solitude and bliss have been easy to find, while most people are running around trying to shoot stuff or working on throwing the perfect spiral. Most days have been nice and quiet. There is still a small window in the afternoon where fish will still eat the dry. For dries use October caddis, tricos, big PMDs, BWOs, elk hair caddis, hoppers, Chernobyls, Orange Stimulators, parachute adams, and purple hazes. This is a awesome time of year to fish streamers up on The Blackfoot. Big fish are starting to throw on the weight as winter approaches. For streamers use mojo minnows, sculpzillas, kreelex minnows, standard buggers, sparkle minnows and dark articulated patterns. For nymphs use Pat's rubber legs, princes, double beaded stones, micro stones, beer head baetis, San Juan worms, October caddis pupae and batman nymphs.

HATCHES:  October caddis, BWOs, Mahoganies
