Happy times up on The Blackfoot as it continues to drop and clear by the day. Dry fly fishing has been GOOD, with salmonflies being the bug of choice. Be ready with caddis, drakes, and goldenstones as the trout shift their appetite soon. Fishing a dry dropper rig with a salmonfly/goldenstone on top has been a good searching set up. Drop a prince nymph, rubber legs, CDC pheasant tail, pearl green lightning bug, or a San Juan off your salmonfly and hold on. For streamers try head banger sculpins, sculpzillas, Big Horn buggers, zoo cougars, and meat whistles.
