The Blackfoot is flowing at 786 cfs this morning and the water temps are in the "safe zone" from the cooler nights we have been having. Spruce moths, nocturnal stones, hoppers, PMDs, and caddis are the name of the game. The hopper dropper combo has been producing a lot of fish as well. The bigger fish have been up eating early in the morning, but disappear quickly with the bright sun. The smaller fish will eat all day though. Pheasant tails, MacGruber PMDs, rubberlegs, and purple princes have been a sure thing lately.
