The Blackfoot is loving these cooler water temps and some bigger fish have started to chow again. Mornings and evenings have still been the best, but the mid day fishing has picked up since it has cooled off a bit. Hoppers and spruce moths are still the go-to bugs at this point although the caddis are hugely relevant towards the end of the day. Black terrestrials have also been the ticket for mid day. Hopper/ant or p-tail dropper rigs have also been very effective, especially on the mid river sections between about Russell Gates and River Bend. Have a good weekend!

HATCHES: golden stones, hoppers, crickets, ants and beetles, PMD's, spruce moths
