**Be sure to lock your toppers, rod vaults, and vehicles at night. It sounds like the scum of the earth (thieves) have been pretty active in the Missoula area. We have heard multiple reports of stolen fishing gear.**

Hoppers and spruce moths are still the go-to bugs at this point, although the caddis are hugely relevant towards the end of the day. Spruce moths have been day to day, depending on rainstorms. Black terrestrials have also been the ticket for mid day. Hopper/ant or p-tail dropper rigs have also been very effective, especially on the mid river sections between about Russell Gates and River Bend. With the warm weather we're getting, the lower river has been pretty hit or miss. The tube hatch has been thick too!

HATCHES: golden stones, hoppers, ants, beetles, PMD's, spruce moths
