People are starting to get excited about hunting, so it can be a little easier to find yourself alone on the water. The Blackfoot is dropping after all the rain and is still below the historical average. The night time lows have The Blackfoot running pretty cold, therefor the early morning fishing has been pretty slow. 10-11 am is when the fish have been waking up. Streamer fishing has been picking up in a big way! For streamers use big dark double dirty hippies, sculpzillas, mojo minnows, aztec buggers, sparkle minnows and white baitfish imitations. For dries use tricos, big PMDs, BWOs, never sink caddis, hoppers, Chernobyls, pheasant tail parachutes, super beetles, flying ants, parachute adams, and purple hazes. For nymphs use Pat's rubber legs, p-tails, double beaded stones, CDC pheasant tails, red lightning bugs, October caddis pupae, and big green machine nymphs.

HATCHES: hoppers, tricos, nocturnal stones, PMDs, caddis, hecuba
