The Blackfoot is starting to get October caddis, baetis, and fall drakes. Hoppers and ants are still our go to bugs for mid day. It's been pretty chilly up The Blackfoot, so getting a later start has been the way to go. For dries use tricos, big PMDs, BWOs, neversink caddis, hoppers, orange PMXs, Orange Stimulators, October caddis, parachute adams, and purple hazes. For nymphs use Pat's rubber legs, princes, double beaded stones, CDC pheasant tails, big green machines, San Juan worms, October caddis pupae and batman nymphs. Streamer fishing has started to pick up in a BIG way. Look for it to get even better as we roll through fall. Mojo minnows, zoo cougars, sculpzillas, headbanger sculpins, Bow River buggers, yellow yummies, and sparkle minnows have been turning a lot of fish.
