The flow on the Blackfoot this morning is 420cfs and fishing it has been fishing well. The river has been a bit moody in the suddenly cooler weather, especially on top, but you can generally find the bite with some searching. Some days it's as simple as a #12 or 14 royal Wulff and the next it's the size 8 yellow stimulator which is oddly effective right into late October up here. If they're showing you no love on the surface, tandem p-tail nymph rigs have been good right off the bottom as have dark bodied size 8 bugger type stuff. The best of the dry fly fishing is still running from about 10:30 until 3:30.

PATTERNS: Parachute adams, elk hair caddis, morris hopper, Copper Johns, Psycho Prince, Red or pink San Jaun worms in tandem with size 14 amber prince. Sculpzilla streamers, JJ's specials, Prince nymphs, rubber legs.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: You know we'll refill your Kingfisher-label gink bottles for a buck, don'tcha?
