Bitterroot Fishing Report - 4/8

The Blackfoot has been the hot ticket around here for the last week or so. All the sections, even up around/above the North Fork, have been stellar on top in the afternoons, with good nymphing in the mornings and off-hours. We've also been seeing a lot of sizable fish come out of here. For dries, toss salmonflies, golden stones, caddis, and green drakes. For streamers, use big, dark joints, like black woolhead sculpins and mouthwashes. For nymphs, use San Juan worms, double beaded stones, micro stones, pat's rubber legs and prince nymphs.
