Bitterroot Fishing Report - 4/12

With the other rivers in the area starting to fish well, the hope is that the Blackfoot receives a reprieve from the pressure. That being said, even with the number of boats that have been out there, the Blackfoot has been quite productive. For dries use Chernobyls, Stimulators, Rogue stones, half downs, bullet heads, parachute adams, purple hazes and elk hair caddis.  For nymphs use Pat's rubber legs, princes, double beaded stones, micro stones, San Juan worms and batman nymphs.  For streamers use big dark double bunnies, sculpzillas, mouthwashes, standard buggers, sparkle minnows and dark articulated patterns.
