Streamers are still rockin' it on the upper river and the dryfly action has been solid during the heat of the day. The hatches have gotten a bit more consistent too, and when the bugs are out, the fish have been up and eager. Mahogany duns and blue wing olives have been the name of the game, with a few October caddis still around. We had one of our best Clark Fork streamer days of the year this past week down around Forest Grove. Olive was absolutely the color of the day.
