Rock Creek has dropped a bit and is running clean the last couple days. By no means is it "on", but skwalas are starting to show up. Along with spring drakes, March browns, and BWO's. Fishing a dry dropper in walking pace water has been very productive. For nymphs use TJ hookers, pat's rubber legs, pheasant tails, perdigons, little black Sloan's, and purple lightning bugs. Double dutch bugs, flush floater skwalas, royal chubbies, Amy's ants in olive, and el caminos are all good choices for skwalas. Throwing streamers is a option as well. Yellow streamers are can be very productive in the spring.
