The Clark Fork is where you want to be when the clouds roll in this time of year. The dry fly fishing can be outstanding. It's fishing pretty well in general, but a little cloud cover can turn a good day to an awesome one in a flash. Attractor dries and dry/dropper rigs are working really well, along with PMDs, caddis, and yellow sallies when the occasion calls. For dries, use elk hair and dancing caddis' in the evening, water walkers, blackout goldens, chubby chernobyls for the morning and afternoon. PMDs will come off throughout the day. For nymphs, use Pat's rubber legs, MacGruber PMD nymphs, prince nymphs, jig rubberlegs, San Juan worms, caddis pupae, pheasant tails and purple prince nymphs.
