The fishing from Kelly Island all the way down to St. Regis has been very good recently. PMDs and tricos are the main bugs hatching, but not in overwhelming numbers. Hecuba (fall drake) are starting to show up, but we are only seeing a handful a day. The hopper fishing has been a little moody over the last couple days. Small hoppers in pink or purple have been the most reliable. The fishing has been taking a bit longer to get going these days with the shift in daylight hours so the "on at dawn" deal is no longer the most viable approach.

HATCHES: golden stones, PMDs, caddis, spruce moths, hoppers, tricos, baetis
