We've had boats going out to both ends of the Clark Fork the last week or so, and it's all been pretty good. Streamers on the upper end, dry flies on the lower end, although hopper fishing has been good river wide. Tricos in the morning and hoppers in the afternoon. Natural colored hoppers and trico spinners have worked best for us. Nocturnal stones are still around and are the meal of choice for a few fish. Hecuba have been coming off here and there. Some fish have been all about the hecuba. For nymphs, use Pat's rubber legs, MacGruber nymphs, prince nymphs, perdigons, two-bit jigs, caddis pupae, pheasant tails and red lightning bugs. For streamers, use big black and olive patterns fished tight to the undercut banks and in deeper holes.

HATCHES: caddis, hoppers, nocturnal stones, tricos, pmds, hecuba, baetis
