That's right Fishpond and Chaco got together and produced some SWEET new sandals and flips.  Here at the shop we sport sandals 8-9 months out of the year LOL. So we are more than a little excited to see these puppies hit the floor.  These are 2015 product and we should be seeing them in early November of this year.

Fishpond Chaco Sandals

Here is what Fishpond has to say:

Denver, Colo. (July 21, 2014) – Fishpond, inc. continually trail blazes within the fly fishing industry with its own innovative bags, packs, luggage, accessories and more. To continue that trend, fishpond is partnering with Chaco and VOORMI, two respected outdoor manufacturers, on product collaborations to bring a broader selection of performance products to anglers.

Well-known footwear brand Chaco, makes sandals that are perfectly at home on the water, so for anglers looking for footwear to wet wade or wear while boating, fishpond brings the fishpond Chaco Flips (MSRP: $70) and fishpond Chaco Z/2 (MSRP: $110) to the fly fishing market. These technical sandals feature Vibram® Megagrip non-marking outsoles for incredible grip on both wet and dry terrain, durable jacquard webbing (with customizable adjustment on the Z/2) and Chaco’s LUVSEAT™ footbed for support and comfort for long days on the water.

“To make this collaboration even more meaningful, with each pair of fishpond Chaco Flips or Chaco Z/2 sold, $2.50 and $5, respectively, will be donated to the Western Rivers Conservancy (WRC),” adds fishpond’s Ben Kurtz. “WRC protects river ecosystems on over 50 western streams by acquiring critical habitat and providing public access for long-term conservation management, so river fiends like us see this partnership as a great benefit to the rivers and streams we love.”

“We are delighted to partner with fishpond, the premier gear brand in the fly fishing space, to share our products with the passionate outdoorsman who understand the value of thoughtful and purposeful products and to support the effort to preserve America’s rivers,” notes Chip Coe, Chaco general manager.
