Rock Creek has been awesome over the last week or so. The wind yesterday made things a little interesting, but the fish have been looking to chow before it gets too much colder. Streamers in the morning and dries in the afternoon was the way to go. Baetis were the main bugs with a few October caddis and mahoganies still kicking around. For dry flies use mahoganies, chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, BWOs, Rocky Mtn Mints, purple hazes, October caddis, and chew toys. For sub surface patterns use March madness nymphs, pheasant tails, Pat's rubber legs, San Juan worms, caddis pupae, purple princes, and big green machines. Streamer fishing has also been very good. The fish were blowing up on streamers throughout the whole day. Big Horn buggers, aztec buggers, mojo minnows, and mini sex dungeons worked well for us.

HATCHES: Mahoganies, october caddis, hoppers, PMDs, BWOs, caddis, hecubas, tricos

FLIES: Prince nymphs, rogue stone, parachute adams, elk hair caddis, hoppers, stoneflies/nymphs, streamers.
