Rock creek is flowing right around 246cfs, but water temps dropped back down to the mid 30's. You can expect them to jump back up with the warmer weather ahead. With the good clarity and lower flows, you can expect the fishing to be worth the trip up here. Fishing with nymphs and streamers has been the most productive. For nymphing use, San Juan worms, Pat's rubber legs, red copper johns, pheasant tails and amber princes fished in tandem will be a good bet. If your looking to find some bigger fish, using sparkle minnows, tight to the banks have been working very well for us. If your looking to fish the upper sections, driving to the top through Phillipsburg will save you a lot of time since the road is still in pretty poor condition.
