Rock Creek has been on the drop the last couple days and is in much better shape for floating/fishing. The Creek has dropped down a bit, but is still relatively big. I would stick to the upper end if your on foot. The creek is pushing a lot of water and is a absolute " no go" if your not very experienced on the oars.

The salmonflies really started to show up over the weekend and fish are starting to chow. Green drakes, yellow sallies, and goldens are right around the corner too. Throwing a chubby with long dropper is a good plan. For dries use royal chubbies, 64 impalas, SUV stones, elk hair caddis, D&D cripples, and carnage drakes. This is also the time of year to fish size 2 & 4 rubberlegs, yuk bugs, and bitch creeks. For other nymphs use SJ worms, sparkle stones, purple princes, and lightning bugs.

HATCHES: baetis, mothers day caddis, grey drakes, skwalas, salmonflies?
