Rock Creek cooled off considerably the past couple days and is a great mid day fishing option. Quite the bug fest going on up the creek these days. Spruce moths and hoppers have just started to show up to the party as well. The best fishing these days is on the upper 1/2 of the river, but there are good options here and there on the lower river as well. . Prospect during the day with a variety of bugs from hoppers to PMDs. Chubby Chernobyls are always a good bet on the creek this time of the year. In the evening, you'll see good numbers of caddis and rusty spinners.

HATCHES: Golden stones, BWOs, PMDS, yellow sallies, Caddis
