With the water temps dropping into the low 50's, the fishing has been creeping towards the fun fall fishing everyone loves. The flow at the bottom is dipping below 400 cfs, which is still way above the historical average. For dry flies, use chubby chernobyls, more-or-less hoppers, PMXs, water walkers, Bugmeisters, panty dropper hoppers, purple hazes, widowmaker moths, dancing caddis, and para wulffs. For sub surface patterns use , pheasant tails, Pat's rubber legs, San Juan Worms, hares ears, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and batman nymphs. The streamer fishing has been best in the deeper holes and runs with dark bodied and sparkly minnow patters.
