Polartech fabric provides SPF 40+ sun protection with 2 and 4 way stretch. th soft inner face of these fabrics picks up sweat without spreading it over the skin. The durable, non-piling surface spreads sweat over a wide area for rapid evaporation and the wicking performance last the life of the garment. The RiverTek Midweight Zip-Top utilizes Polartec X-Static fabric, which keeps skin dry when you sweat and features a natural anti-microbial to prevent odor. Silver fibers permanently knit into the fabric neutralize odor-causing bacteria.
Visaendurance Fabric
Visaendurance fabric is silver-based with anti-microbial finish, which offers lifetime odor control. The fabric is perspiration-activated to release extra protection and provides superior wicking. The soil release properties discharge stubborn stains and odors without pretreatment.
Solarban Fabric
Solarban is a family of woven and knit fabrics that provide enhanced UV protection (UPF) through construction, chemistry, and/or mechanical finishing. the advantage of Solarban clothing over sun lotion with SPF is that these fabrics provide permanent protection from both UVA and UVB rays. Sun lotion only blocks UVB rays. The Solarban fabrics used in the Superlight and Travel Shirt provide maximum sun protection - UPF 50+.
3XDry Fabric
The multi-functional high-tech finish on the 3XDry fabric repels moisture on the outside and quickly transports moisture from the inside to the outside of the garment. The fabric is also highly breathable and dries fast - 6-8 times faster than fabric without 3XDry technology. Fresh Plus prevents the development of bacteria and unpleasant odors. Garments featuring 3XDry fabric repel dirt and are more resistant to stains.
Nanosphere - A Schoeller Technology
Nanosphere fabric is naturally self-cleaning - splashes and stains run off the nano-surface, even after numerous washes. The qualities of the technology also prevent moisture intake offering stay dry, quick dry comfort. Garments utilizing this technology need less frequent washing, are abrasion-proof, and the finishing technology has no influence on the comfort of wear, appearance, feel or breathability.
